Mikulášská - Old Town Square View Residence

  : We were in a 3 BR apartment -- very large property.
  : We booked the property because it was listed at a great location -- Mikulasska 6, Old Town Square View Apartments. We received several email messages asking us to provide check-in information. Finally one from "Alfred" telling us "Thank you for completion of your online check-in. Now I have all the necessary information from you." We went w/ luggage to Mikulasska 6 only to find a locked building. After calling we were told to go to the office at Masna 20 -- about 5 blocks away. We dragged our luggage there and found a reception desk, only to learn the apartments at Mikulasska 6 were not available - they were moving us to another apartment at Veleslavinova 4 (See photo) -- about 5 blocks away. No apology for the inconvenience. So we had to drag our luggage back -- now about 9 blocks to find the apartment. It definitely was not 350' from the centre of Prague. The property did have A/C -- available for an additional charge. Bottom line -- We felt we were subjected to a bate and switch -- Old Town Apartments apparently manages several properties but they are NOT all at Mikulasska 6. The location is why we booked with them. We had friends traveling with us who had a similar reservation at Mikulasska 6 for a smaller unit -- and they were put in yet another location blocks away. There was a sign on the door at Mikulasska 4 (see photo) -- nothing at Mikulasska 6. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Booking.com should not let them use the Mikulasska 6 location on the website.
